Physical vs digital

Our take: Because the box only contains a code, it should work on a PS5 Digital Edition as well as a disc console. That's our inference from Rockstar's description; neither Rockstar nor Sony has said it in those words.

Confirmed Rockstar Support, Take-Two. On PlayStation, the GTA+ month has to be claimed by Mar 31, 2027, once per account (PlayStation offer terms).

Which should you buy?

Our take: Unless you already know you want the extra vehicles, properties, and cosmetics, Standard is the safer buy. Rockstar sells the Ultimate Upgrade separately at any time, so you can decide once you've played. Pick digital if you want the free GTA+ month, and order before Nov 20 for the bonus pack either way.
